Both Australian Amateur Men’s and Women’s Medal winners, the Women’s Australian Amateur Champion, the Women’s NSW Amateur Medal Winner and both the Mens and Women’s NSW Amateur Championswill tee it up at Avondale on 28th January 2020. We have some of the Japanese National Team and 8 of the World’s Top 100 ranked Amateur Golfers competing in the tournament – it is going to be a great contest for the two titles.
The field was over subscribed and the handicap ballot was enforced. The men’s field was limited to +0.8 and exemptions and the Women’s field was limited to +1.1 and exemptions. Avondale welcomes male and female players from 10 visiting nations, including Argentina, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea and United Kingdom. We are ecstatic to have 9 of our Avondale members eligible to compete for the coveted titles.
Avondale members Grace Kim, Kara Williams, Sharon Thompson, Chris Fan, Will Bayliss, Will Moody, Richard Wallace, Henry Heskith and Bryce Pickin will also tee it up – their local knowledge of the Parkland Golf Course will give them the home advantage.
The Avondale Golf Club invite you to come and watch play which will commence on Tuesday 28th January. Avondale Golf Club is located at Avon Road, Pymble – there is onsite parking.
